Spring at Hamptonne

April and in brilliant sunshine the doors at Hamptonne were opened. Pollen filled the sky, blossom trembled in the orchard and chickens ruled the roost.
Hamptonne has charmed generations and continues to do so even though it's a rare glimpse these days.

Cat is ready to welcome all comers.
These sunlit days pick out all the blossom to be found.

Chickens punctuate the site.

Sadie Renard quietly stitches, hidden from the days full heat.

The baleful stare.
Blossom and pollen fall like snow.
